To do: Take a trip to Salvation Army

I took the #7 down to St. Clair Ave. this morning to check out the Wychwood Salvation Army.  I was elated to see FOUR gorgeous chairs sitting there....all under $15!!!! (Green: $9.99, Cane with no seat: $?, Beige: $14.99, Brown $9.99)

EXCEPT, we have the smallest car ever, we have 10,768,472 chairs already and I am not sure exactly what I need for the basement just yet...so alas, these chairs can not come home with me1...but you should go pick one up!

OK so they are a bit ugly, but try to look past that.  The cane one is SERIOUSLY FABULOUS, except it has no seat so you have to invest a bit into it.  It has no scratches in the wood.  I didn't try smelling them, or sitting on them...but you should go down there and see for yourself!!   I hope they find a happy home!

1. I am blogging about them so that I can STOP THINKING ABOUT WAYS TO GET THEM HOME!

  1. So you have a chair obsession like I do I guess....haha. Thanks for checking that out. Is the Wychwood location generally a pretty good place to find gems like these?

  2. Great finds once again! I am always on your blog for great thrift store finds/second hand finds/craigslist/kijiji finds!! :)

I too have a problem with bringing every chair, table, bench, you name it, home before I even know what I am going to do with it! but some finds are sometimes too good to pass up!

  4. I WANT that cane chair! I don't care that it has no seat and that B would most definitely say no with the # of chairs and projects sitting in our garage waiting for me to get to them (haha). That may not be the chair for me... but I still want it!
