More Outfits - Laundry edition

Stuff from the laundry...outfits I have worn lately & often!
I am giving you an Olivia Palermo pose in the final frame...cross legs, slight forward bend...holy smokes, eh?

UPDATE: One week later and I am already mortified that I put this up on the internet!!! I just can't figure out how to dress myself!! I mean, this is fine if I am going for frumpy frump frump! But you know what? This is exactly what I look like everyday...the (gross) tan lines prove it!!

ps. The jean shorts need to be retired until I lose more weight...they fit my size 27 booty, not there yet!!
pps. Oh and I googled bloggers/outfits and I had no idea it was such a thing!! I was a little shocked how many people offer advice about taking photos of yourself...where have I been?

These outfits are cute. Although, I suspect you could look good in a brown paper bag -- you have a fabulous figure. Curious: Is that a tattoo or a birth mark on your left arm?

  3. Love the skirt...and the photos are really great. Feeling inspired to do something even if it's just to document what I have.

  8. thanks!
I know it's not 'fashion'...trust me I KNOW...I don't think it would land me on what-not-to-wear...but it is definitely mom clothes!!!

  10. I'm with you...totally understand. I am thinking of doing the same thing to document what I can wear and still look OK, instead of stressing out in the morning before leaving the house with 2 kids...my pre-baby N2 outfits are pretty nice (if I may say so) but not practical for public nursing! ;) BTW, love that show, miss watching it, since we chose not to have cable anymore

  11. Love this post! Was just thinking of a white shirt like yours in the first one was something I needed and apparently now it is.

  12. I dress the complete opposite of you (almost exclusively skirts/dresses, lots of pattern on pattern, and lots of bright colours), but instead of hiring a stylist I think the easiest thing is to just think about adding accessories to jazz up your outfits – jewellery, belts, etc. That way if you are shy about colour or whatnot, you can just baby step it. :)

Personally I love summer dressing because I've been wearing super bright colour combos and neons. :)

  13. I find dresses super comfortable...I love them...but I can't b/feed in public in a dress...next year I can stock up on some pretty dresses and skirts.

I REALLY want a wrap jean skirt...you know? I remember seeing them in vintage stores way back in the day...i wonder if I could still find them there...

I think I need to elevate my shoe game too!

  14. I think you'll find wrap jean skirts a-plenty in vintage stores. I am really into silky fabrics myself, but the bummy part is the hand washing. :(

I'd like to elevate my shoe game too, I have a million pairs but they are all flats. I love the idea of heels but the reality is I don't think I could teeter totter comfortably on the TTC to and from work. I always admire women who wear heels every day though. I sure could use the extra height!
