from salvation army....its good, right?
I am wondering if rattan can stay outside all summer? Can it handle the elements? I think I know the answer to that question, and worst case, I will haul it inside the garage whenever there is rain in the forecast
Oh WOW! It's so much bigger than it looked in the picture you emailed to us! You are a brave soul for hauling it home... how was that trip? haha
ReplyDeletei walked it home...it took 45 mins...i regretted buying it about half-way home...but got excited again when the house was in sight!
ReplyDeleteYou may have to treat it with special paint to leave it outside...but it's lovely and a great find!
ReplyDeletewell done my friend!
ReplyDeleteYes! Totally worth it. That's what I like to see. What a great chair. I wish I could photograph you carrying it on the back of the stroller. Hilarious, Shannon!
ReplyDeleteAwesome chair! I so wish I had 2 of those for the front porch.
ReplyDeletethat is one awesome chair!!
ReplyDeleteScore! Great find, but I would not leave it out unless it's under a porch and completely covered...the rattan will fall apart...
ReplyDeletegreat find! funny that i ran across this post (i found you through old brand new) because i just finished googling my options for a rattan swinging pod chair that i scored...i can't decide if i should paint it or restore it with stain & linseed oil. either way, i want it outside! i suppose time will tell how it will hold up. :)
ReplyDeleteLove it - another great find!
ReplyDeleteOMG... Those chairs are fab! Boy I would have been one jealous woman if I saw you scoop that chair up from Salvation Army.
