don't get me started on the subject of dinner... it is a daily head scratcher around here. Today I made chicken patties, sauteed green beans and Greek salad... yumm
Ok this isn't about your dinner. (I had cheese toast for dinner. Sad. It was a long day.) I just noticed your disappointment about the George R Martin book. I'd heard these books were great - not so much?
The first three books are amazing!!! BEST EVER...then the fourth is pretty good...the fifth is pretty boring...NOTHING HAPPENS...the plot hardly moves ahead...it was difficult to get through, even though I am a fan of the series!!!
This is one of our go-to meals...easy when I haven't planned anything else...I marinate the pork in soy sauce, chinese cooking wine, chinese black vinegar, and some sugar...then stirfry the pork, remove it from pan, stir fry the beans a bit, pour some water in pan, cover...let beans steam...then mix pork into the beans...chinese pork and beans :)
Serve with rice...sooooo yummy! My son sits and eats every last bite (well, he tries to avoid the green beans)
i stare at the food forever before I figure out what to do with it. I wish I was a great cook.
