1-2-3

1- I moved the kitchen rug several inches away from the counter.  So much better it is not even funny.
2- I NEED to sharpen all of these pencils, RIGHT NOW...or I will go crazy
3- I rediscovered this little dish and put in on my desk. This morning, after placing a couple Mighty Machine Dvds on hold, I dropped my library card into it. Only then did I realize it would be perfect for calling cards.  I am going to look at what Penny Paper Co. can create for 8foot6!  Do you have calling cards for your blog?  I bet you want some now that I put the idea in your head, no?

My boys ran out to Costco, giving me time to 'relax.'  They went without a shopping list, so I am curious to see what they will come home with!  Chances are, my son will walk in with a new truck!

update: my son got a new thomas the train book with tiny thomas toys

I TOTALLY having calling cards for my blog. It actually started as a preventative measure: I was in a store taking photographs of merchandise and despite the fact that I introduced myself first and asked permission, they had security tail me around the store and pop up several times around corners to surprise me with questions like, "What did you say your supposed blog's name is again??" After that, I decided to go legit and have cards made up, and it's never been a problem since then. It's actually sort of cool because I can hand a card over and let them know that their merch will be featured at some point. I also offer to email the store/owner directly with the link, so they can visit if they want. It's free advertising for them, after all, and drives at least a little bit of traffic to my site. Win-win! Can't wait to see what Lindsay does for 8foot6!

  4. LOVE your rug and your beautiful flooring in your kitchen! I have never thought of having calling cards for my blog but I have also had security look at me weirdly in shops for taking pictures so I will definitely be adding it to my ever-growing to-do list!
