We picked up
this 4x6 rug from Urban Outfitters over the weekend. I wanted something to spice up the nursery!
A fun rug, for a fun room!
BEFORE:
Anyone want some free winnie-the-pooh Flor carpet tiles? They are hair and fluff magnets...just warning you!
I love the new rug - it jazzes u the space. But do the edges sit flat to the groud- its not a trip hazard is it? if so maybe one of those underpad things would help?
ReplyDeleteOoooh it is very spicy! I really love how good it looks next to your beautiful spotty chair!
ReplyDeleteyah, it is a death trap at the moment!
ReplyDeleteI need an 4x6 underpad ASAP...
I want to address the window treatments next! We need room darkening and blinds that fit better...
ReplyDeleteI also want more grown up and neutral
Wow what a big difference! The rug picks up all the colors in your nursery, and it surely spiced the room up!. Great find!
ReplyDeleteSpicy! I almost got it too when I saw it at UO. Looks like it was made for your nursery. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteOoh I love it! It fits in so perfectly with the rest of the room!
ReplyDeleteVery spicy indeed. I like!
ReplyDeleteIt's perfect! I love how it looks in the room!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love the new rug: the colours and pattern is perfect for the space. :)
ReplyDeleteThe rug is great and it works perfectly in the room. Love the pattern.
ReplyDeleteooooh love what it does for the room - looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the new rug ... it's awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe new rug looks great, the colours couldn't be more perfect! Are you seriously giving away those Flor tiles? I'll take them if you want to get rid of them, I have always thought they were adorable! I destroyed my flokati in my baby's room (well the dog wasn't too much help either) and have been looking for something cute to replace it.
ReplyDeleteLove the new rug. I have an UO rug in my kitchen. I love the graphic patterns they offer. One good thing: it machine washes beautifully and dries hanging very quickly. One bad thing: It slides all over the place (ours is on hardwood as it looks like yours is too) and isn't really heavy enough for a rug pad to work. ...but it's worth is for the funky look!
ReplyDeletethey are yours!
ReplyDeletecrazy hair magnets...you may loathe me every time you go to vacuum them!

it looks amazing - you have such a good eye. Is the rug thick or more like a heavy fabric?
ReplyDeleteHi Polly!
ReplyDeleteThe rug is just a bit lighter than the dash and albert cotton rug we have in my other sons room.... With a tighter weave...Light and tight!
The print is painted/stamped on...the underside of the rug doesn't have a pattern...
Thanks Sharon for your quick response on the rug thickness. I want to buy 2 and sew them together for my long narrow living room. It seems that if the fabric is light that might be possible?
ReplyDeleteOhhh I don't know about that... Send me and email and I will send you some close up photos!
ReplyDeleteLol. ha, i'll take my chances... cool emailing you now.Thx.
ReplyDeletewow - totally un-baby's the room. in a good way!
