What a bummer, you were so excited. I'm sure you have so many nice knock knacks others would have been stoked to snatch up. Glad you made lemonade out of lemons. It sounds like fun anyhow.
sure you don't want to sale them to your readers? LOL I see more than a few things I'd like to purchase. So, I bet the next street sale you have will be AWESEOME! Love your basket too. Can't wait to see what you fill it with.
Just be glad Friday's weather wasn't repeated on Saturday! It was pretty quiet everywhere - not a lot of people around but it was great to see you guys and meet your new little one. You were right about Hotel Gelato - I had the baked eggs and Douglas had the french toast - totally delicious! We'll have to go back there sometime! Glad you scored a new basket, though! Very nice! :)
It was a wet weekend! good for my plants, bad for business!
I was happy to see a few things go to people who really liked them...
Plus we kept it alive another year! Only six houses joined in, but folks came out to catch up....we don't see much of each other all winter ( just a friendly wave while shovelling the snow).
I just sent you an email. It should show up from WhimCMama@yahoo.com I think a blog sale would be AWESOME! I know of a few people who'd be just as thrilled. Hey, it might even produce more blog traffic. That's always nice ;)
I use Ominous ALL THE TIME when I talk about the sky. For real... and it gets used A LOT out here! ;) I would've loved to rummage through everything you had put out if we were still living in Toronto!
Mhhh, I think I would have bought a couple of things I see there.
ReplyDeleteI love your your white chair, in the photo of your new basket!
ReplyDeleteI think I would have bought those bowls with the dots on them!! And I would have been out in such weather!!

ReplyDeleteEmail me and we can make a deal!!!!
I love them, I priced them a bit high probably, because they are hard to let go....but, I am trying to stick to pyrex...and let go of other beauties!
