Linen Closet

Now we are organized! (Here's the before*) It looks the same, except I was able to cram a lot more stuff in.

- The green cube with toilet paper was free from blogpodium.
- The dark basket was part of a baby gift (It holds mom-only things)
- I took a readers advice and folded the towels salon style (Thanks Pierre!)
- I pulled out the drill (I LOVE using the power drill!!) and affixed the ductless remote control to the inside of the door frame.
- Extra bath toys in clear bins (We rotate the toys, so the boys don't get bored)
- Hooks to hang small travel pouches (purchased unused, second hand)
- This is the most logical spot for extra diaper genie refills (bought on sale!)

*Yes, I was crazy.

  2. Ahhh...the diaper genie refills. Memories!

I too love using the power drill. And how about metal anchors - aren't those the best?!! We just returned from Toronto and I bought a pendant lamp from Zig Zag that'll need the hefty anchors. Can't wait to get to the hardware store.

    Shannon,
I wish you lived closer to me so that you could come organize my craft crap :) I will check out the Home Depot containers though...and your closet looks amazing. I wouldn't dare post pics of mine.

  5. But if this is your linen closet, where are all your linens (bed sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, etc.) Us folks with messy linen closets need to know!

  6. On the beds of course!
    I don't have spares!

As soon as they come out of the laundry, they go back on the bed. So I have to wash and dry them same day!

I do have a tangle of old white sheets no longer in service. I keep them in a bin downstairs in case I need them for drop cloths.

I also have a jumbo moses basket in the basement that holds extra blankets.

  7. Oh and extra kid sheets/blankets are stored in the kids rooms. Crib sheets with the receiving blankets...and twin sheets are in a drawer in Tyler's double malm dressers.

  11. It actually makes me want to fix the main floor closet...

Like, the linen closet is challenging the hall closet to a clean-off
