We went to several thrift shops in Niagara over the weekend. I bought Pyrex, another blue decanter for
Janice (it goes with the
other two I dumped on her), a rectangular tin, and a stack of pink lunch plates. I might keep the pink plates and
buy a few more, or I might list them in my etsy shop*!
*coming soon!
etsy shop?!! congratulations. Might some of your milk glass become available?
ReplyDeleteexcellent idea!
ReplyDeleteGreat finds! Gotta love etsy - that will be fun!
ReplyDeleteOoo, you're the perfect gal to open an etsy shop! I'm just about to close mine for a little hiatus (details soon) so I can't wait to live vicariously through you!
ReplyDeleteAnd, such a coincidence, I found some of the SAME pink plates at a yard sale this weekend! Small world (or there's a lotta those plates). They're so pretty, but they are bound for my mom's house because they suit her kitchen wares more than mine.
I was thrifting in my Niagara this past weekend too! Maybe we bumped into one another and didn't know it ;) Love the Pyrex.
ReplyDeleteI saw the same blue decanter last night at my local Goodwill. They also had a gold one.
ReplyDeleteI dunno...maybe...probably not at first! There is a ton of milk glass in on etsy already, so I am not in a rush to enter that market!
ReplyDeleteThanks!!! Can't wait to hear about the baby!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait! I have to get organized. I have a plan ... now I have to start taking photos!
ReplyDeleteI love the pink plates! I have to test drive my small bread and butter plates on top of these new ones, and see how they look together...if they work, then I am keeping them!
ReplyDeleteThat would have been too funny!
ReplyDeleteI was in Niagara falls (VV, GW, SA) and St.C (VV and SA)
I googled the decanters...there are a million of them on etsy...so, not exactly a rare find...but the trio of blue glass will look great in Janice's place...
ReplyDeleteLove the blue decanter! Never gone to niagara to thrift shop before, looks like i need to make a weekend out there! Peach festival is next week I believe. Really looking forward to their peach pies. :)
