Picked up some junk at the thrifts today. Books, a milk jug and a photo.
I
love this photo. The boots kill me, I have almost the same ones. The
old van. The cardboard & sharpie Merry Xmas sign and HAPPY
something, that rad tweed coat with chunky sweater...vendors sold papers
on the streets? What's so funny? Looks like a shushie Christmas - we
don't get a lot of white Christmases in Toronto, do we? The paper only
cost 75 cents. It is signed Jean Gordon. I want to fix the horizon for
Jean. Did it bug her? This wasn't that long ago. What year would you
give it?
Very cool photo. I have the same milk jug, but it's currently in the donation pile. Let me know if you want a second one for a pair.
ReplyDeleteGet lost!!! It's such a cute jug!
ReplyDeleteSo you know where it is from?
I have some buttercups that were growing in my clover yard in the jug right now...it's very hipster :)
I feel you about the window situation, but I think I can top it - when we replaced my building's windows last year they delivered the 6ft wide living room windows frosted. Of course the error wasn't discovered until the old windows were removed, so I couldn't see out my living room for 3 weeks. Hope the fix of yours is shorter :)
ReplyDeleteIt says portugal on the bottom!
ReplyDeleteYou should keep it and use it as a hostess gift sometime....buy some flowers and put them in and wrap it up that way...very pretty! I love giving people vintage!
Love the photo! Totally random but it's a great shot! *Sigh* I need to go to the thrift stores more often...
ReplyDeleteIt seems impossible to avoid these challenges in a reno...even a well thought out one like yours. Thanks for the great pics & posts-I'm sure it will be amazing when done! As for chandelier, I agree, I think it should be centred on bed.
ReplyDeleteYes you do!! God I want to go right now...Canada day, what's the deal with that?
