Sooooo wrong, or Soooo right?

Janice, from Life Begins at Thirty, Right, sent me a link to the following bean bag chair, on sale at HomeSav  (she knows I have bean bags on the brain right now)

I LOVE IT!  I think it would be sooo comfy in the basement...We could put it where the teak chairs are...an extra seat!  (I think only one would fit)

I need a second, and third, and fourth opinion (and fifth)!  Round slouchy poufy on the floor bean bag in some sort of neutral color (the classic bean bag?)? Or this large acid green square bean bag - On sale?  Or "STEP AWAY FROM THE BEAN BAGS"

ps...I am nervous that it will be scratchy outdoor fabric, not soft buttery melt-into-me fabric

  1. THIS IS AWESOME! I hate the old bean bags, but I would totally get one of these! How fun!

  2. I think it's fun. If it doesn't work in your space I'm sure the kids would love it in theirs.

  3. The shape looks really unconventional. And I love the colors. You are right about fabric...it says Polyester and typically outdoor fabric is kinda rough. The texture reminds me of those Air Canada inflatable pillows that have velvety feel outside and plastic inside.

  4. You could always pick what you like here http://beanbagboss.com/ They have a great selection. Not sure what the price on HomeSav is but these are $150 each with your choice of cover - if the acid green is too much for you....

  6. You can check it out in person at the Blue Banana market at 250 Augusta Ave in Toronto. I remember they sell something similar. I sat in one of them and it's actually not all that comfy. The old school bean bag chairs are waaay comfier.

  8. Thanks for the tip Wil! I am now leaning toward the old school ones...there was one at deerhurst in the toy room, and I do have to admit, it was the BEST THING EVER!
