I had a 'this-is-why-I-go-thrifting-all-the-time' AHA moment today! Brought on by this p
lum jam jar* ...
$1.51...YES! I already have a strawberry one with lid. The plum jar is lidless, but otherwise perfect!
Then I took a chance on this small cross body leather bag. It was $5.05 and I liked it. I am experimenting with style...so please bear with me...the leather is sooo great!
And a book, about buses...very cute buses!
Cute jam jar! Ready for some home-made grape jam? :)
ReplyDeleteGreat finds!
ReplyDeleteI just started going to the value village stores close to my somewhat regularly, so far I found some great wooden toys but I always wonder how do you clean the books? Especially after I saw how my 5 month old licked her first book.
your thifting is inspiring... if only I could get past the whole second hand store smell thing.
ReplyDeleteI'm such a huge GW and Value Village fan. The prices at GW are usually way better though. I have found all kinds of really great things for ridiculously low prices. The downside is I'm so easily influenced by a good price that I often buy things I NEVER use or wear. I just wanted the good deal! LOL
ReplyDeleteJam is on my no-way list...unfortunately...
ReplyDeleteseeing all the sugar in jam when I made it was one of my TSN turning points!
I know! I love a deal!
ReplyDeleteI am much choosier than I used to be!
The leather bag looks pretty damn good for $5 bucks! What a steal!! You always manage to find such awesome items Shannon!
ReplyDelete:) love the jar...
ReplyDeletemy grandma just gave me hers this past summer...
