We went to city hall this afternoon and applied for our permit.
Now we are in the process of collecting quotes from five different contractors. We have met with four so far and one stands head and shoulders above the rest. But easy there - we will see how they line up after we get the estimates.

Head and Shoulders above the rest? Must be a tall contractor? Are you sure he can fit in your basement? Or does he hire smaller guys to do the work? :)
