I don't immediately hate this...I don't immediately love it either...they seem a bit smallish...and I suppose I would have to paint them...because that wall is BLAND!...(I wasn't planning on painting them...I love the beat up finish)...I like the vertical dowel chair back with the vertical slats!

I like! Much better than the entrance hall (bring back the black chair). And much better than the other chairs in this space. It goes so nice with all the wood around the stairs. And I really like how it echos the vertical lines.
ReplyDeletewhat about painting them bright yellow? It needs a visual break. maybe that will enhance them and make them feel brighter rather than bigger.
ReplyDeleteI like them here better than the entrance. What else you got?
ReplyDeleteI think they look great here! Maybe you don't have to paint the chairs... maybe you can bring in colour some other way if you really don't want to paint them?
ReplyDeleteLove the vertical backs with the vertical slats. I would definitely paint them.
ReplyDeleteI really like the new chairs in that space Shannon!
ReplyDeleteMe likey. Are you going to add any accessories to the wall above the desk? I'd try adding colour that way first before painting the chairs. They look great beat up.
ReplyDeleteI think they sit very well there! I would paint them. I would probably do them glossy black, or perhaps a kelly green? Whatever you do, they were a total steal!!
ReplyDeleteI think you should paint them too. But I disagree with yellow. It may look too washed out. I think you should either paint them glossy black or a saturated bright colour.
ReplyDeleteI just realized that Amyolliver said almost the exact same as me. So .. what she said.
ReplyDeleteelectric bright yellow megan e. thats what I was thinking, make them pop.
