Getting rid of 60 books
I am letting go of over 60 books...I will cart the newer ones (ie the help, one day, dragon tatoo, etc...) over to BMV and see if they are worth a few nickels, the rest will be donated to goodwill...

purging feels good doesn't it? I need to do that with my kids toys...
ReplyDeletelet me know which BMV you go to! I see a couple of titles in there I'm interested in! :)
ReplyDeleteYour blog is one of my favorites! I was very sorry to read that you were no longer writing...and by chance I checked back today and you are back! Hooray! Sounds silly, but I really enjoy reading what you have to say!
ReplyDeleteBetty
I should do the same, I have some great books that I am sure others would love!
ReplyDeleteI just clicked on your link...and imagine my surprise when I saw your posts. Am so glad you are opting to stay in blogland! I purged books a couple of years ago (and dearlord it was hard to do...books are my friends!...lol). Kept only books I really believed I would read again, and the classics.
ReplyDeleteYou are back. Ha ha. Out with the old, and in the with the new - how did the Overstock pick up work out?
ReplyDeleteI love books and have found that it is very easy to resell on Amazon. I read the book gently, then post it as a used book in good condition. The price you sell it for is your choice and the shipping charges are separate. I always ship Media or Book Rate. It has allowed me to buy current best sellers rather than wait a long time on the list at the library. I do buy books that I will treasure and read over and over, but this has been a great solution for me. Love your blog.
