kids books

I haven't found anything great at the thrifts for over a week now! (except children's books, a bunch of these books were only 25 cents each, I definitely picture THIS wall of kids books somewhere in our house!!)...'the very hungry caterpillar' egg cup and soldier plate, regular price is a whopping 17.50 GBP, we paid $3.03...its in perfect condition...not sure that we will actually use it though....the polka dot planter makes me happy...it says it was hand made in boleslawiec, poland (a pretty town!)...and a fishy milk glass planter...

We keep finding duplicates of some of our favourite kids books...in perfect condition...I finally decided to just buy them (sooooo crazy cheap - never pay retail for kids books guys!!!) and I will send a little care package to my nephew in London, ON...

  3. I buy a ton of books for my nephews at thrift stores. So many of them are in perfect condition! You've rounded up some classics here. Richard Scarry books were some of my favourites as a child.

  4. I miss Maisy...sniff.
I find great books at the library but it sometimes takes some searching. Or I go directly to the "new" books section. I find it best to gather a bunch and bring them home. They get more attention before bed than in the library itself.

  5. We seriously need a wall of kid's books as well. I've actually been wondering what I could do with all of Henry's books they are getting out of control.

  7. I love Maisy and Those Richard Scarry books! Does your child like Dick Bruna? We have a few of those and a Dick Bruna Memory Game that Pascal, our 3 year old, absolutely loves! Dick Bruna was the originator for Hello Kitty and Miffy.

PS--I love that cute polka-dotted bowl! Cute!
