Old Navy Maternity

I placed an order through the US Old Navy site for some mat clothing.* If all of these items (or any of these items) fit the way they are supposed to (I used Old Navy's measuring chart, and I crossed my fingers)...then I have the makings of a decent casual maternity wardrobe...I'm worried things will be too small...

I have four or five black tops in my closet that fit well, but no bottoms to go with them...black leggings, white tshirt, light grey tshirt, two flowy long grey tanks, purple striped tshirt, loose navy tank, long navy tshirt, navy maxi dress, chocolate brown sleeveless shell, and bubble gum pink sleeveless top....and tons of cardigans for the fall.   Oh and a black sleeveless flowy dress with sequins near the collar...and some 'office appropriate' things I probably won't wear ever again.  That's about twenty odd things to wear over the next 4 months! Not bad!

UPDATE: I just found a sleeveless tunic - dark grey with big red poppies on it that I forgot about!
UPDATE: and two heather grey tank tops (not maternity but roomy enough to fit) and a cream sequence tank (from target maternity, purchased on sale in Florida with plenty of room to grow into)

*maternity clothes not avail online in CA yet

  1. Shannon, I'm just wrapping up month 9 of my first pregnancy, and I have to say that Joe Fresh has been a saviour! I can't stand the style of available maternity clothes, but their sundresses, shorts with elastic waistbands, and cute oversized tops - cheap - have been perfect to get me through the last few months, even though they are not maternity... Good luck!

  2. Oh Tara Joe Fresh lets me down every time I go in there....I must have freakish long arms, and long torso, nothing fits right...(same can be said for GAP clothing)

I try to get away with non maternity but any top that fits my belly, well, it doesn't quite fit the chest...last time I just layered white tanks under everything...

plus, I don't want to iron ANYTHING! That chambray skirt was so cute I made an exception!

  4. I just gave all my Old Navy maternity clothes to my sister-in-law who is expecting, and I had forgotten how cute they were! Old Navy seemed to fit me decently when it came to maternity, so hopefully they work for you too!

  5. Shannon - how tall are you? What size do you normally wear? I have a pile of barely worn mat clothes I'd be happy to loan (unlikely to have more babes but not ready to give up entirely!)
I'm 5'10, size medium with freaky long arms ;)

  6. Hi Cully!
That's the nicest offer ever! I will get back to you if I can't squeeze my bulk into this new haul of clothes! Hopefully I will have enough to put together a half decent outfit after this!
