Thinking about putting this tree branch in the corner

I am pretty sure I am doing something wrong here....
hmmm...that chair is supposed to be under the picture...
...and the stack of white tiles should join the boxes of tiles in the garage. If you need about 60sq ft white ceramic subway tile, 4x8 (same as our basement bathroom)...email me!

  2. Thanks!!! The chrome chair is from Clist. It needs new fabric. Well, it doesn't NEED it, the fabric is in great condition, but the brown is a little flat.

  3. I like the idea of the tree but I think it needs a few blooms or leaves on it...it seems a little barren IMO. Perhaps if it was more twisted the shape would be interesting enough to not need anything but while I'm not a huge fan of faux flowers, I think in this case, it might help (used sparingly)? It would also give a little bit of colour to the room. Just my two cents.

  4. Love the branchy silhouette! It looks in perfect harmony with the rest of the clean lines in your dining room.

  5. it IS pretty skinny mini...i might move it into my bedroom and see if it goes there...it actually isn't doing much for me in the dining room! I mean its cool, but feels like I just stuffed it in there...doesn't feel very planned (ummm...go figure, right?)

  6. Well in any case, I do like the idea of some kind of tall, live plant in your dining room.

  7. Thanks! I had one of those Dr Seuss plants from IKEA in this corner...but I nearly killed it. It is doing much better near the window...

  12. Hi Shannon,
Please don't think I'm being preachy but I don't think you should have a glass vase on the floor when you have a young child in the house. I'm sure he knows to stay away, but accidents DO happen. Please don't be offended, I just spent all day yesterday in the emergency room with my little one, for a STUPID mistake I made and was just commiserating with a friend whose own daughter spent three hours in surgery for an accident involving a glass container and her little hand. So I guess you could say I'm on HIGH ALERT or paranoid but I would hate for some fluke accident to happen where your little guy ended up falling into it.
