Dinner time

Does any one else think simmering ribs in brown sugar and cocacola classic for eight hours is weird?  Try this recipe!  My favorite crock pot recipe to date!

(Please excuse the pictures of raw meat...removing the membrane from the back is KEY)

  3. Chuck a whole chicken in - no liquids required - cook for 6 hours and it melts off the bone! Put whatever spice you like on the bird. I do pack a lemon or onion (whichever I have on hand) inside.

hmmm sounds interesting - but your update says it's amazing! Will have to try it... We just made pulled pork in ours on the weekend - SO good! I just pinned a pulled pork recipe that looks good...other than that we have also done ribs (YUMM) and I make chili in it regularly

  5. I am not the cook in our family! I have no talent when it comes to cooking. My husband is the cook. However, since I am home now with the baby, I try! I have been using the crock pot for cooking a whole chicken, add some salt, pepper, onion and that's it...then I make either chicken sandwich or chicken and veggie or even chicken and pasta, and soup! I should try your recipe.

  6. Try the ribs!!!!...I think it is now my favorite recipe EVER...I will make them again next week and I will take better photos (We just ate the leftovers and my son took most of them off my plate)

My husband is also the cook - he makes AMAZING organic beer can chicken in the oven that is the juiciest best stuff ever....
