Mini Easter Basket - Take Two

My first attempt at an Easter basket made from magazine pages looked ok, but nearly impossible to put together, and rather fragile....So I tried again!

This time I used a small yogurt cup, tape, and glue stick (blue glue stick).  It is mainly held together with glue.

Steps: measure, cut, weave & glue, weave & glue, glue & weave, cut container, glue, press together (gentle, gentle!), take another page, fold it a million times (to make handle), glue....Recycle after Easter!

(The egg is just a prop - not hard boiled...I burnt six hard boiled eggs this morning...I forgot I was cooking them - does this ever happen to you?  It happens to me 80% of the time when I make hard boiled eggs, and I make them often!)

  1. I saw a thing online today about steaming eggs as opposed to boiling them. ten mins in a veggie steamer.

    Cute basket!
