It's a great day to turn three!
My son turns three today!
We are making a fire truck cake and cupcakes, fetching helium balloons, and prepping for his party tomorrow (like these little fire trucks). We also want to make some home made play dough. Tyler loves watching 'how to bake' videos on you tube. He has watched how to make a firetruck cake from Betty Crocker kitchens at least 489 times...and his newest thing is this how to make play dough video.
Hey, why not? I am just going with it...

Oh i did a firetruck 2nd birthday for my son. We actually went to the local firehouse...the kids (and moms) loved it too! everybody got to go in the big firetruck and get an official tour! I tried to be rescued by one of the firemen...but for some reason it just didn't happen.
ReplyDeletehappy birthday to him! those firetrucks are very cute, well done!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I'll be watching your blog for ideas...I need loot bag inspiration!
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to your little guy!
ReplyDeletehahah i love how he watches How To's. seriously, he'll be helping with cooking by the time he's 6. blessing! ahah
ReplyDeleteok, too funny; my son has watched that about the same number of times. He too had a firetruck third birthday party. I did my best at the cake, but it didn't turn out as well as in the video. If you're giving it a go, i might suggest buying premade red icing; i needed two containers of gel food colouring and the icing still looked more deep pink than red (and it managed to get all over my white kitchen!)
