Afterwards, during commercial break, telling the audience about the blog!

Last Tuesday, my friend Liz joined me at CBC studios. We were part of the audience for the Steven & Chris show.  I watched my my home tour segment for the first time and immediately answered two questions from Steven & Chris.

The show will be aired this Monday, April 1

It was a great experience! Terrifying and, well,........... humbling!

I was humbled by my inability to say lines into a camera!* The producer and cameraman assured me that 3,086 takes for each sentence was normal. I wanted to get it done, and, of course, I wanted to do well! OK, maybe I was secretly hoping to become a star! Perhaps, I thought, I have a hidden talent that will shine through! Nope. I suck at reciting lines into a camera! I forgot to blink. I couldn't remember my lines AND remember to blink. I talk through my nose.**

Also, my hair.  What was up?

Anyways, I had fun! It was a thrill! I have a new appreciation for how much work goes on behind the scenes in order to create a TV program. I had no idea how organized things are. Or how much support and kindness was involved. Yes, kindness! They all wanted to see me succeed!

Please tune in on Monday (or set your PVR) for the Steven & Chris show! I will be up after the first commercial break!

I will provide a link to the show when it is available online, in case you miss it Monday!

I hope you all get a chance to watch!!

*I know I am not good at everything. Let's just say I have a healthy ego, and it was knocked down a notch or two!
**I did ok. They make it impossible to embarrass yourself! They coax the very best out of you! Whether it comes naturally, or not!
