You have good taste
Lets consider what 'you have good taste' really means. This seems to be a statement I hear from time to time, but I don't always take it at face value. Do you? Coming from a contractor it seems to mean: 'I can charge her extra and blame it on the skinny grout lines'. I think what my DH is really saying is: 'all those blogs have brainwashed you'. I bet an Etsy seller would be thinking: 'I am going to DIY a cute miniature version of that out of felted wool this weekend'. I would consider it a compliment from an avid Apartment Therapy reader who probably means that you scored big on Craigslist and have a cool collection of pyrex. However, watch out for your designer friend who is really telling you that you almost get it, but... 'if you just moved the furniture around and got rid of the collection of pyrex it would be perfect'.

Shannon, this is really interesting - would you mind if I quoted this whole post on my blog? With full credit, of course.
