Basement Underpin: Week Three Wrap Up

Ta da!

They finished all of the number 3 sections last week.  They will do the number 2's this upcoming week. We have been getting a lot of rain and the basement is flooded! What does that do to the concrete and grout?  I will ask on Monday.  My guess is it just takes longer to cure...after all, you do add water to the concrete or grout mixture (there I go talking out of my ass again).  Another question: what happens if the water gets into our brand new HE boiler? (In the middle picture you can see the boiler sitting on a dry-ish part of the ground right next to the cement mixer...).
