We had family over on Saturday for a backyard BBQ1 to celebrate the big guy's first birthday! It was so much fun!
We went all out with the decorating...it's not a party without balloons and streamers and pointy hats that look like swiss cheese and ....
I really love looking through the photos from the party and seeing the lively pops of red, blue and yellow in the background! So much fun!!!
The very loose theme was 'The Cheese Stands Alone', since the Farmer in the Dell is my son's favorite song (well, its a close second to Jay-Z's 'Empire State of Mind', but how can I decorate around that?)
The water bottle labels, the toothpick toppers, napkin rings, and stickers were designed by Jenny from "One of a Kind Design" etsy shop. She was really great! Thanks again Jenny!!
We made a giant painting with all the cousins - messier than I had imaged....let me tell you!
I cut out the felt garland that is hanging in the kitchen windows, and quickly (sloppily) stitched them together. If anyone wants them, please email me at eightfootsix@hotmail.com - I would hate to throw them into a garbage can. I will mail them to you.
Thanks again to everyone who came!!!!!!!! Big T had a GREAT TIME!
1. it was a little on the cool side in Toronto, but thankfully we own every gadget ever invented, and we have a patio heater. It kept the chills away.
