I didn't want a closet...I wanted to keep the whole room as open as possible, and I am a ridiculous slob behind closed doors. I stash away things I should toss, recycle or donate. A closet here was destined to become a haven for spiders, old shoes, and unnecessary crap.
I am really pleased with the way it turned out. Double mdf with a pine trim, 30" from the ground. The whole thing will be painted out white.
The contractor didn't give me a quote for it. "Always get a quote" is sound advice...but what happens when you ask and ask and ask and do not receive?
The guys also mudded the bathroom and fixed the hole in the drywall under the stairs.
