Zara Home was definitely a store I NEEDED to visit...I was able to sneak across the river (we were staying in an apartment in Saint Germain des Pres) one after noon to buy a couple toss pillows (wishing I had bought more), yellow stripe hand towels (intended for the basement bathroom), pot holders (brillant little things that go on the pot handles so you don't need to get out your full oven mitts), a small silver tray and a tiny brass 'pill box'...here is a peek inside the Paris store...
I loved the merchandising as much as I loved the product...the kids stuff was definitely the cutest of the cute...I wish we had Zara Home in Canada. It would probably become one of my new favorite stores (after Goodwill, Salvation army and Value Village that is....)
All in favor of bringing Zara Home to Canada say AYE!

AYE!! Or else someone needs to fly me to Paris (I'll take that too) ;)
ReplyDeleteAYE AYE! I'm all for it! Looks lovely... maybe we'll need to go to Paris in the Spring :)
ReplyDeleteI would have been broke leaving this place, I would have wanted to buy the entire store!! I agree why don't we have great home decor stores here in Canada? We're neighbours with the U.S. for heaven's sakes!! While we're at it we need a Target, and a Z Gallerie too!!
ReplyDeleteAYE a million times over.
ReplyDeleteAlso agree with Wallpaper :-) Target and Z Gallerie would be sweet. I'll even just take shipping to Canada!
oh my, so many beautiful things --- i love the capiz accessories...
ReplyDeleteIt's like being there ....
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome. I wonder where the closest one is to me.

ReplyDeleteAYE!!
ReplyDeleteI love Zara home. I'm still kicking myself for not buying more of their linens last time I was in their store. We definitely need a Zara Home, and Conron Shop and Muji too while we're at it.
