I am not sure what I think...the corner is a wasteland of cables (under and behind the chair)...but the desk looks better here!
What do you think?
Maybe I will try
this desk again...its quite small, so might work centered...or might be too small!
I really like the desk centered but I hate it when cables show, this one is tough! I used to have computer cables like yours, but thanks to my computer which is now dead (RIP) I have a laptop, so cables are no longer an issue.
ReplyDeleteThe desk looks a bit too close to the Malm drawers, but I do like it centred. Do the Malm drawers need to stay? Amazing how different the pic with the wide angle lens looks from that with the normal!! I know what you mean about rugs, but I think something like a plain seagrass would sit really well in the room.
ReplyDeleteyou need a big L shaped desk! :D
ReplyDeleteI think the desk looks too close to the Malm. I think it was better before (pushed into the corner).
ReplyDeleteI do like it with the L part gone - looks more open in there.
I have the other desk I can try - centered!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat wont be a job for today...but I will test it out this week
Funny how a little change can do so much. I support the glass table idea if the room feels small. don't do an old big wood table - it will overpower the lightness you have achieved.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great! I would keep this desk. If the malm is too close to the desk... maybe put it under the books where the chair is and pull the chair over where the malm is now? Hard to tell without being in the room - but, it looks so much better! Less IS more! ;o) Good job!
