Thrifty Sunday!

I polished it up with brasso & the kitchen door wide open (whewwww!) - a sticker on the bottom of the bowl says its solid brass (its big, like 8 inches across)..this is my second pedestal bowl thing...what are they for? What do they do?  I will have to start watching for them on the blogs to see...
Second largest Cinderella bowl (it was placed on the shelf while I was shopping!) and a small square hammered aluminum tray...I don't have one like it yet!

My Pyrex collection is destined to outgrown my stubby shelves...then what?
yup...one more vase...
***after seeing this photo, I flipped the lids on my brown refrigerator dishes (and removed my blistex)

  2. All of those pyrexes? Martha Stewart is going to be quite envious. They do seem to be abundant...but you got all the good ones. I really enjoy coming here to see what great things you pick up during your thrifting.

  6. Oh, you know I love me brass. Prop it on some large art books, on a coffee table and throw some loose things in there and you're good to go! My heart still races every time I see your pyrex collection. All those sweet oranges and blues. Love.

  7. You should definitely open an Etsy shop. You already have a huge inventory that is catalogued. It wouldn't be too cumbersome.

  8. Love the brass pedestal bowl! I have a similar one (without the graceful aging unfortunately) I bought from HomeSense, and I use it as a fruit bowl. With green and red apples or yellow & green citrus in it will make it a nice kitchen decor item.
