more pyrex

Earlier today, we found these bowls at Salvation Army...it felt sooo good to be in a thrift store again, is that weird?

I know you  have been dying to see the stubby kitchen shelves with the bowls I bought a few days ago:

The colours are fruitier than what we had up before:

What patterns do you think I need to add? Butterprint? Snowflake?

I wish I could display all of my pyrex collection together. I have a bunch on the open shelves in the basement, and a growing collection of bowls in my cupboard!  I am tempted to gather every single bowl, casserole dish, and fridgie that I own and place them onto my dining room table, just to admire them for a while!  Call me crazy!

  3. Love how they stack up and the color punches! It'd be neat to stack blue ones on the 2nd level in reference to the color in the pattern prints next to them; then green on the third level, etc., just some crazy thoughts. And thrifty stores are addictive and thankfully I live pretty far from any of them. Have a great weekend!

  4. What a great collection. How do you have them stacked with so much visible of each bowl? Is something put underneath or do they just rest like that? I think my favourite are the fruit coloured ones.

  5. Isn't it cool how much of a difference rearranging things that simply can make? So pretty. I LOVE that red/orange pattern. So much! It reminds me of the designs from Dutch Door Press....they make tea towels that I think would look so amazing in your kitchen. You should check them out...especially the red ones!

  6. I don't know if you check comments on old posts so I'm posting here but, can you tell me who your glass guy was for the basement shower? I want to do the same thing where the glass panel goes from ceiling right to the shower/bathroom floor

  7. Hi Andrew,
We used either GTA glass or Glass in the City. Actually, we have used both of these companies in the past, but I can't recall which one did the shower, and which one installed shelves in the kitchen. Hope this helps! Shannon

I love the snowflake pattern - I think it's my favorite. I've been able to resist buying more bowls! :)
