I want to drink more water, and I want to recondition my core

So here is what I am doing about it!  For the next 30 days I intend to:

- Drink only water (tea or decaf black is ok too)
- Do full Chapter Six* exercises every day
- Track my progress!

I am totally taking control of the month of March.  I made a poster, so, you know, that means business!

(Sometimes I make these sort of promises to myself, then I let them slide.  This time, I am using the internet to hold myself accountable!  I will report back in April!)

UPDATE: 100% SUCCESS!

  1. Have you ever used futureme.org? You write letters to yourself for the future and get them emailed to you. It's a great way to "check in" with yourself part way through a challenge!

  2. Do you feel you don't drink enough or that you drink too many caffeinated drinks? I know most people eat b/c they feel hungry although they should first start by drinking water as they might actually be thirsty, not hungry.

Did you know that common advice of drinking 8 glasses of water is being more and more disputed. My doctor says to drink when I'm thirsty, never force yourself to drink a bottle of water to get the 'quota'. My husband has to see a kindney specialist and he also says don't just drink water because you think you have to, drink because you are thirsty.
You don't state anything about 8 glasses in your post and I might just be babbling, but thought you might be interested.

  5. Actually I drink too much juice... I don't drink pop or coffee ( miss coffee but the baby is against it)

So I want to replace empty calories with only water!

  10. Hmmm...I will save that app!
Right now I need to get through basic stretches and realignment exercises so I can go for serious toning in Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 :)

  11. Congrats! I think this is so important for mamas - keeps the energy up! If you're ever looking for a fantastic place to work out with the kiddies try fitfamily.ca (Babies & Bootcamp I think it's called) is excellent. You can bring your youngest to work out and in the summer you go outside! I've been doing this since I was pregnant with my first and it's amazing.

Too funny- I always make the calendar poster when I'm serious about the fitness program too. Good luck, and I find green tea really helps with the svelte tummy!
