Staples Canada generously gifted us with two sets of Monarch 2-Piece Nesting Tables. I love them! Staples wants to get the word out that they sell accent tables and accent chairs.
We are using three of them as nightstands in the guest bedroom in the cottage and the other one has been so handy to have in the living room!
Although they came in a white finish, the paint was a bit thin, and matte. I wanted glossy so I repainted them. I love the way they turned out! I want to go one step further and dip about 3-4 inches of each leg in a bright colour paint. Not sure what colour to pick (What do you think?) I also considered painting the tops one colour and the legs another (bright blue and white? or orange and white maybe!!), or the inside of the tray in one colour and the outside, and legs in another (pastel yellow and white?)...these tables are begging for your personal touch!
ps. Land of Nod has a similar style table, I also noticed these and these
pps. The walls in here need to be done (goodbye pink). Then curtains, blankets (buffalo check?) and new duvet cover, maybe some throw pillows. The art will change since it is not convincing me. We have a long way to go!
