7 days to go...

A bunch of small items were finished up today...and I got my quotes!!!! 

Today they finished making the stairs trim and tidy...

...we ended the baseboard on a sharp angle below the stairs, and the same angle on the landing...good enough for me! (remember - painting trim same color as wall so this wont stand out)...

the bathroom door was hung...this shot is standing inside the bathroom, looking at the niche that will be hidden behind the door (for open shelf storage).

The grey vanity is growing on me...well, at least, it looks good in the dark!  Funny how things change colour in natural daylight...I tested it under incandescent light...it looks pretty darn good under a single bare bulb...I think I have to let it ride... (the picture is all yellowy...you have to trust me on this one...poor light = nice combo)

I suffer from a disturbing disorder that causes me to freak-out over paint colours...honestly...I can bet you $500 that my first reaction to the white walls will be "OOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!!"...I usually recover within a week. 

Oh and the contractor admitted he wont be completely finished by June 18th.  The tile guy is going on vacation but might squeeze us in on Friday.
