Nesting

Cleaned out the fridge, organized the coffee corner, and cleaned out the baking cupboard.  I put the cupcake wrappers in a glass jar (you've seen this idea before, no?)...this jar used to hold some cookie cutters.

I moved the cookie cutters into one of the square vases at the top right of the cupboard.  The other square vase holds napkin rings and other small kitchen do-dads (and some ancient looking keys - I am not sure where they came from)
Before & After
Before & After

I am loving this burst of energy.  I made a solo trip to Starbucks this morning, and actually jogged across the street when the cross walk started counting down.  I JOGGED...at nearly 37 weeks.  (Only for 7-8 paces, but still)...I felt giddy!

  1. I love those bursts of productive energy - i usually get them once a month and tackle things like the office or playroom.

  2. Did you hear about that woman who ran/walked the Chicago marathon last weekend at 39 weeks pregnant? I thought it both crazy and amazing when I heard the story.

  3. I don't know what it is...but, I'm more into nesting in the fall than the spring...I mean really, it's spring and I'll be outside...but, fall means it gonna be cold and you don't wanna be in a crummy nasty house all winter...You should see what I did to my kitchen yesterday...I cleaned like a mad women...but, oh I see I have more to do...my pantry. I never thought of putting all those little baking do dats that fall into the floor everyt time I open the pantry...into clear class containers that are easily found at my local thrift store...heading there today. Thanks for the inspiration...pics to follow.
