one bag smoke, not two bags smoke)...and the texture is much rougher than expected...so until I can get down there and experience them, I will reserve my final judgment...the sealant/top coat is pretty awesome...but I wonder if bare feet will dull it down, you know? Tough to say! Its definitely NOT your average basement concrete floor (FYI...we installed radiant heating)
The floors took longer than anticipated. The contractor dropped off a large industrial fan to help dry them out and suck out the fumes. Thankfully, there isn't any lingering odor upstairs.
Next week will be busy: stairs, trim, if lucky we will get to painting...
Now that the floors are done we can get the washer installed...and we need to take delivery of the couch too!
Our original deadline was June 4. We are not going to be finished in time. New estimate is mid June. We don't really care at this point...as long as they show up everyday and work keeps progressing.
